BB3R Autumn School 2022 - Alternatives to Animal Testing // 10 – 12 Oct / Registration deadline: 5 Oct

The BB3R Autumn School is part of the mandatory course program on alternative test methods to animal experimentation within the graduate program BB3R.

This year the BB3R Autumn School is organized by the Freie Universität Berlin and will be held in Berlin Dahlem. The seminars are open to PhD students, Postdocs and other researchers working in the field of 3Rs (the practical training on Tuesday afternoon is for BB3R graduate students only).

Registration: Attendance is free, but registration is needed (there is a limit of 35 participants).

Research Data Day 2022 at Freie Universität Berlin - Learn, network, join the discussion! // 27.10.2022

Dear doctoral researchers,

you are cordially invited to the Research Data Day 2022 at Freie Universität Berlin on Oct. 27, 2022.

Some parts of the program will be in German but there are also English sessions and we would be very happy if you could join the discussion session on “Research Data in Doctoral and Undergraduate Studies” where we want todiscuss with students, PhD students, lecturers and coordinators from B.A., M.A., and PhD programs how we are currently learning and teaching research data management, what experiences you have had in your studies and in your PhD programs and what support you would like or would have wished for.

We will also have a poster session in the afternoon. PhD students can also present posters about their data or other research data management related aspects of their work.

I will put some more information down below.

The Research Data Day has two parts:

1. An online module from 9:15-13:00 with talks and breakout rooms for discussions. Topics include examples of research data in projects at the Freie Universität, data in the humanities, publishing research data and data in doctoral and undergraduate studies, and much more. Most talks are in German but all discussion rooms can be in German or English depending on the participants.
2. A Poster session and get together from 14:30 - 16:00,Seminarzentrum, Freie Universität, that offers a forum for networking and exchange of ideas.
