Free spots available in the workshop “Gender and Diversity Competence”
Date: May 30 and 31st, 2022 >> two full days
Trainer: Sabine Lerch - in person
Participants: max. 12 - cost: 200 €
- open to all stages - highly recommended
Overview: In our current society engaging in any form of disrespect or discrimination is, thankfully, officially no longer tolerated. In certain situations you could damage your career with inappropriate behaviour. In this training we will create awareness of the many, often subtle, ways in which persons unfortunately still discriminate against women, certain cultures, sexual preferences, and religions. For both men and women it is crucial to understand where your own prejudices could lie and to be aware of them so that you can avoid potentially serious consequences. If you belong to a group that is sometimes discriminated against, this training will give you advice on how to deal with discrimination and to develop your own strategies for personal empowerment in your career. The training is conducted over 2 full days of short theory lessons, discussions, individual and small-group exercises, plus role-playing exercises with feedback.
For registration please contact: linn.lundvall@charite.de

RKI Colloquium Series on Climate Change and Public Health still running
Climate change poses a substantial challenge to global population health. Each year, leading experts are invited to present and discuss their area of work at the Robert Koch Colloquium. This year’s topic focuses on the effects of climate change on population health and discusses potential mitigation and adaptation solutions.
The lecture series will be in English and take place as hybrid events at 16:00 CET on Wednesdays. The next talk is on 25.05. For more information, please have a look at the attached flyer or follow the link.
