FU website and e-mail address: No-means-no

The central e-mail address no-means-no@fu-berlin.de has been set up for all concerns regarding sexual harassment, discrimination and violence (SBDG). Regardless of status, gender, or specific concern, all FU members, associates, and guests can contact the SBDG office if they are affected, have witnessed sexual assaults, or would like information on the subject. Behind the e-mail address is the office of the SBDG Working Group, headed by the team of the Chief Gender Equality Officer. Of course, the BCP women's representative remains important contact person, who provides initial counselling. The new e-mail address is a supplement and should especially help those affected to find a contact point quickly.

Forschungsdatenmanagement - kurz und knapp: Eine Einführung // 2. Juli 2020

Das Webinar vermittelt erstes Grundwissen zu den verschiedenen Aspekten des Forschungsdatenmanagements, zu den Anforderungen der Forschungsförderer, zu Inhalten von Datenmanagementplänen, zur Publikation und zur Nachnutzung von Forschungsdaten. Zusätzlich erhalten Teilnehmende einen Überblick über die Angebote der Freien Universität Berlin

Una Europa Early Career Host Program // Deadline: 13 July 2020

The program is aimed at doctoral researchers of Freie Universität who wish to gain experience in developing, organizing and hosting scientific workshops at Freie Universität. Within this framework, funding for mobility and accommodation of doctoral students from other Una Europa member universities, for catering and for invitations of external experts to Berlin is available. 

Digital formats are fundable as well. In that case, funding can be used for acquisition and usage of hard- and software and other necessary materials instead of for mobility and accommodation.
