The FU Pass Service supports students and staff of the Freie Universität who require a residence permit for Germany. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have about applying for a residence permit.

Who appoints the doctoral committee? How is the review procedure organized? How long is the display period?

Who organizes the disputation? When should the disputation be announced? How many members of the doctoral committee must be present? How long does the disputation take?
