Schedule of Orientation Days in Summer Term 26
Orientation Days
On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, we will start at 10 a.m. with a basic information event for first-year Bachelor students of Chemistry.
Simultaneously, at 10 a.m., the info event for Master students of Chemistry takes place in seminar room A.006 (Arnimallee 22, 14195 Berlin), with specific information on that program.
At 1 p.m., the Campus Rally for all first-year students follows, giving you an overview of the university grounds. As a part of the tour, you will have the opportunity to buy an affordable lab coat, which you may need during lab internships.
On Wednesday, April 9, 2026, at 10 a.m., the second part of our basic info event for Bachelor students takes place.
At 7 p.m., we will meet for a nice bar night at Trude Ruth und Goldammer (Flughafenstraße 38, 12053 Berlin), where you can get to know each other, as well as older students, and have a drink (or more) :-)

Campus Rally
During the Campus Rally, we’ll take you to various stops and show you the key locations on campus related to chemistry.
There will be multiple German-language groups for Bachelor's students, as well as an English-language group for Master's students.
Participants will be able to buy a lab coat during or after the Campus Rally.Lab Coat Sale
The Lab Coat Sale takes place on April 8, 2026, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in room 14.07, Takustr. 3. The price for one lab coat is 17 Euro, the price for two is 33 Euro. Please bring cash. You may try on the coat there.
If you missed the Lab Coat Sale, there will be another date coming soon. Look out for a respective announcement.
