The Bunsen-Tagung is one of the main conferences of the German physical chemistry and spectroscopy community, held annually since 1894.

This year, Dr. Marina Pigaleva presented a talk entitled "Stability, Conformation and Interactions of Proteins and Polyelectrolytes: A Spectroscopic Approach." In her presentation, she explained how EPR spectroscopy, nanoDSF and DLS can be used to elucidate details of phase separation in the solution, protein function at the molecular level, as well as the unique aspects of the conformational behavior of these macromolecules during complex formation with binding partners.
