During her BSc thesis, Elisavet will work towards understanding the molecular-level processes that occur during gelation and arise from the type of charged functional groups on the polymer backbone. She will address this intriguing question using EPR spectroscopy and will support her findings with rheological measurements as well as analyses of SEM micrographs.
