Carla Kirschbaum received the DAAS Award for her outstanding work on "Cryogenic Infrared Spectroscopy of Lipids" at Anakon23 in Vienna. The prize is awarded every two years by the "Deutscher Arbeitskreis für Analytische Spektroskopie" and sponsered by Merck KGaA. With a special focus on young scientists, the award aims to highlight works that combine novel spectroscopic techniques to gain insights into the structure of molecular and biomolecular systems.
