DIBLOCK COPOLYMER, A MANUFACTURING METHOD AND SUITED APPLICATIONS
A novel diblock copolymer combines a small glycerol-based hydrophilic block (1–10 glycerol subunits) with a superhydrophobic perfluoro ether block (≥20 carbon atoms), linked covalently. It forms highly stable, biocompatible droplets for W/O and W/O/W emulsions, eliminating thermal-stability and cross-contamination over the traditional commercial PEG-based surfactants.
