Block Group
Welcome to the Block Group. We are working on the development and application of new approaches aiming to characterize complex interactions taking place at (bio)interfaces. Examples include the quantification multivalent virus-receptor interactions (based on mobility measurements), the massive parallelization of single-molecule force spectroscopy measurements using hydrodynamic forces, and the quantification of turnover rates of single enzymes. Our approaches rely on advanced microscopic techniques (such as TIRF, confocal microscopy, and FCS), which are often combined with microfluidic channels within home-made optofluidic architectures.
