The Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) has awarded Prof. Dr. Christian Müller with the "MTA Distinguished Guest Scientist Fellowship" research prize. The prize is awarded to outstanding guest scientists and includes funding for a three-month research stay in Hungary.

The research project on "Phosphorus-stabilized carbenes" is being carried out with Prof. László Nyulászi at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
