Libraries
The Library of the Institute of Biology has one location in the Botanical Museum and another location in the Campus Library of Freie Universität Berlin.
The staff of the BioSupraMol Instrument Center of Freie Universität advise and support scientists and students in solving complex analytical problems and supervise the large-scale equipment for the analysis of biomacromolecular and supramolecular compounds.
The Berlin Center for Genomics in Biodiversity Research (BeGenDiv) uses next-generation technologies to support scientists in their research into the genomics of microorganisms, plants, fungi and animals.
People from more than 100 nations study and work at Freie Universität. Vice versa, members of Freie Universität also learn, teach, and conduct research all over the world. This international exchange is also encouraged at the Institute of Biology.
