General Information

The campus of the Freie Universität Berlin in Berlin-Dahlem is well connected by the subway line U3 (direction of Krumme Lanke), get off at Dahlem-Dorf and proceed like this.

Participants staying at Ravenna Hotel Berlin or Best Western Steglitz are advised to first take the Bus X83 in the direction of "Königin-Luise-Straße / Clayallee", get off at the bus stop "Arnimallee" and then proceed like this.

If you travel one way in the fare zones A and B, a two hour "single ticket Berlin AB" or a "single ticket Berlin BC" respectively for 2.70 € is advised. Otherwise, a "day ticket Berlin AB" for 6.90 € would be an uncomplicated alternative.

The conference will start Monday, March 7, 2016 at 12:00 o'clock at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in Fabeckstraße 34/36, D-14195 Berlin. Please be on time for the registration (12:00 - 13:00).

The first day of the workshop consists of two sessions and the poster presentations in the evening.

The four sessions on Tuesday will be followed by the plenary lecture of Prof. Dr. John D. Protasiewicz (Case Western Reserve University, Ohio, USA). To round the day off, there will be a conference dinner in the evening.

Wednesday will start with two additional sessions followed by the award ceremony and the closing remarks.

There are two options for gaining access to the university WiFi network during the 13th EWPC-Conference.

If you own an eduroam account you can simply login to the university WiFi network as the Freie Universität is part of the eduroam program. Click here to check if your university is participating in that program.

The Freie Universität Berlin owns a specific WiFi network for conferences only. To access the conference WiFi network you will need a password which will be given to you when you register for the 13th EWPC-Conference.
