Research interests

I am an Ecological Modeler applying the Mathematical population dynamics theory to Community Ecology. I am modelling the aboveground vegetation dynamics of permanent grasslands, by using the DynaGraM model, both in term of composition and in production. I used this model to study the response of the botanical composition of the grassland to changes in management and in climate.

  • Community Ecology: Grassland model, Dynamic modelling of ecological systems, Plant succession, Vegetation science, Structure and functioning of plant communities, Ecosystem services.
  • Modelling: Process-based models, Model validation, Consumer-resource model.
  • Biomathematics : Ordinary differential equations, Delay differential equations, Sensitivity analysis, Populations dynamics, Metaecoepidemic models.
