The European Symposium on Fluorine Chemistry brings together academic and industrial fluorine chemists from all over the world and first took place in Munich in 1965. The conference is held every three years in Europe, and the scientific programme of the symposium covers all areas of fluorine chemistry relevant to fundamental and applied research. The 20th ESFC will take place on August 14-19, 2022, and will be held in Berlin, Germany, hosted by the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
