Highly Flexible Phosphabenzenes A Missing Coordination Mode of 2,4,6-Triaryl-λ3-Phosphinines

Our work on a new η6-PC5, μ2-P coordinated Phosphines has been published in Chemical Communications. We report unusual diamagnetic Rh(0) dimers with two Phosphinine-Cr(CO)3-π complexes acting as bridging 2e- ligands to a Rh2(CO)2 core. These compounds represent a missing η6‑μ2 coordination mode for the aromatic phosphinines.

Unsere Arbeit über neue η6-PC5, μ2-P koordinierende Phosphinine wurde in Chemical Communications veröffentlicht. Wir berichten über ungewöhnliche diamagnetische Rh(0)-Dimere mit zwei Phosphinin-Cr(CO)3-π-Komplexen, die als verbrückende 2e- Liganden zu einem Rh2(CO)2-Fragment wirken. Diese Verbindungen stellten einen noch fehlenden η6‑μ2 -Koordinationsmodus für die aromatischen Phosphinine dar.
