Medical Applications of Radioactive and Non-radioactive Metal Complexes

Our interests in medical applications focussed to radioactive compound for nuclear medical diagnostics and therapy using 99mTc, 68Ga and 188Re, but also to cytotoxic compounds for the treatment of cancer or parasitic diseases such as Chaga's disease

This research was done in collaboration with the nuclear medical research group of the Charite Berlin and with the groups of Prof. Pedro Ivo da Silva Maia (Universidade Federal do Triangolu Mineiro, UFTM, Brazil) and Prof. Victor Deflon (Universidade Sao Paulo, Brazil).
