My project includes the study of the metabolism of various drugs, including 17-methylsteroids, using stable transfected yeasts expressing human CYP450 enzymes and sulfotransferases. This should provide information about new metabolites for better understanding of human metabolism and may help also in doping analyses. The technique for analyses are GC/MS, LC-QQQ and LC-QTOF.
