Every year, students from biochemistry, biology, chemistry, and pharmacy select particularly committed members of the teaching staff for the “Teaching Award.” It was established by the department to encourage and reward instructors who are dedicated to ensuring students get the best possible education.
Any student can submit a nomination for a member of the teaching staff in their subject for the honor. The winners are chosen based on the results of a questionnaire organized by student representatives in the spring; however, nominations with a brief description of why the instructor should be considered can be submitted throughout the year.
