We are excited to be able to offer five stipends to female PhD students or post-docs presenting either a poster or a talk at the workshop, and who are working in countries classified by the OECD as low or middle income (https://www.oecd.org/dac/financing-sustainable-development/development-finance-standards/daclist.htm).

Each stipend will be for a total of up to 1,000 EUR. This would cover your registration fee, which we would pay for you directly. The remainder of the stipend can be used for travel. You would initially need to pay for your travel, and this would then be reimbursed to you after the workshop (we would need receipts and proof of payment). The maximum we can pay for travel would be 700 EUR if you are a student and 650/600 EUR if you are a post-doc. The different amounts are due to the differences in registration fees.

If you would like to apply for a stipend, please email us (ecol.immunol.workshop@biologie.fu-berlin.de) your CV and a maximum one-page cover letter briefly describing your research interests and why you would like to join the workshop. Please email this information to us as one PDF file. The deadline for receiving applications is the 25^th March. We will inform you when we make the decisions on the abstracts as to whether we are able to support you with a stipend.

Please also make sure to submit your abstract through the online submission page by the 25^th March.
