We focus on biocatalytically produced platform chemicals that can be used in the chemical, construction material, energy and pharmaceutical industries.
The identified microorganisms will be optimized for high lignin tolerance and lignin degradation potential.
The generated microbial isolates and production processes are expected to replace petrochemical synthesis with biocatalytical utilization of renewable carbon sources.
