Research interests

I am particularly interested in using the brain as a model for better learning algorithms and the application of state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to help analyse and understand neural data. In practise this means developing methods for analysis, visualisation and prediction in high dimensional, multivariate temporal datasets. My focus at the moment is primarily in the mammalian visual cortex.
