Research Interests

My current research interests involve the application of statistical methods to neuroscience. In particular, I focus on nonparametric statistical inference for electrophysiological data. In collaboration with the NEUROCOM group of the Universidade da Coruña we are studying pairwise associations between spike trains under low firing rates. Being my background on mathematics and statistics I enjoy any kind of interdisciplinary work, specially in biological contexts.
