The course will take place on July 5-6-7 2022, from 10am to 4pm including breaks.
It will be entirely online and live. The event won't be recorded.
The course covers the fundamentals of descriptive statistics, parameter estimation, and hypothesis testing for means, proportions and medians, linear regression, non-parametric statistics, goodness-of-fit tests, and ANOVA. I will show how to solve about 40 practical exercises on the various topics covered.
At the end of the course, you will know which approach is best for your data, and you will be able to visualize and analyze your data independently.
People attending the course will receive all slides and several Jupyter notebooks (Python) with the data of the exercises and the solutions.

This course is organized by the IMPRS on Multiscale Bio-Systems. It may be counted toward the curriculum of the Natural Sciences doctoral program.
