As soon as you have successfully completed your last examination, please complete the request for graduation and for your certificate and send it to the Examinations Office by e-mail. Your last examination can be the submission/defense of your Master’s thesis, a final exam date, the submission of a term paper/protocol/report.

The request for graduation does not correspond to the request for de-registration.

If you have questions concerning de-registration we kindly ask you to contact the Student Service Center.

If you wish to enter a first and/or last name that differs from your official name (e.g. trans*, inter* and non-binary* (TIN*) students), please submit the “Application to enter a first and/or last name that differs from your official name on degree documents of Freie Universität Berlin”.
