In the Master of Biology consists of 120 LP (credit points) in total. It is split in the following domains:

1. Introduction domain (15 LP)

2. Advanced domain ("Erweiterungsmodule"; 50- 60 LP)

3. Projectdomain ("Projektmodul"; 15- 25 LP) und

4. Master thesis (30 LP) with Colloqium

The schedule of the course of study is really important. Every modul in biology has a limited capacity. Theses courses are distributed accordingly to the study and examination regulations. That is why it is important to follow the study plan above. If you are not following the plan, you might get problems recieving a place in a Praktikum.
