Each year, the Dahlem Research School presents the DRS Award for Excellent Supervision to two professors at Freie Universität Berlin for their outstanding supervision of doctoral students.

The winners of the 2025 selection round are Prof. Daniel Schubert from the Institute of Biology in the Department of Biology, Chemistry, and Pharmacy at Freie Universität and Prof. Felix Hartmann from the Department of Law.

The award is endowed with 2,000 euros, which will be used to support early-career researchers. A date for the award ceremony has not yet been set.
