The BCP Department thrives on effective communication—with, about, and from students and researchers, as well as with high school students and the interested public.
Are you planning an academic event or an extracurricular activity for students? Are you about to publish an exciting paper, receive an award, or have you secured funding for an exceptional research project? Feel free to contact us—we’ll advise you on suitable communication channels within the department and provide guidance on collaborating with the Office of Communication and Marketing at Freie Universität. We’re also happy to offer self-help resources for questions regarding the content management system.

The department logo may be used, but its use is not required. The Department of Biology, Chemistry, and Pharmacy is primarily part of Freie Universität Berlin; therefore, the Freie Universität logo always takes precedence—for example, in presentations, on letters, flyers, cards and other documents, posters, signage, and on the department’s website—and is always sufficient on its own.
Freie Universität Berlin provides guidelines on logo usage and corporate design.
However, there are occasions where there is an additional need for a department logo, for example on T-shirts, mugs, notices, etc.
