The BCP Department Council Office, in consultation with the Dean, prepares the agenda for Department Council meetings, drafts resolutions, issues invitations to the meetings, organizes the invitations, and is responsible for compiling, publishing, and disseminating the resolutions.

Requests for a Reduction in Teaching Load
A reduction in the teaching load for professors and academic staff is subject to certain conditions. Please refer to the provisions of the Teaching Load Regulation (LVVO) in its currently valid version, as well as the currently valid guidelines issued by the Executive Board of FUB.
Requests for a reduction in teaching load are reviewed by the relevant institute council and then decided upon by the Dean’s Office. Izabella Gesellensetter (dekanatssekretariat@bcp.fu-berlin.de) is available to answer your questions.
Appointments
We provide full support to the appointment committees of the BCP Department, from the job posting to the preparation of the appointment proposal. Please feel free to contact berufungen@bcp.fu-berlin.de with any questions. We also offer support for using the appointment portal.
The Appointments Office also coordinates the review of professors’ performance agreements and the evaluation of junior professors. Please feel free to contact berufungen@bcp.fu-berlin.de regarding these matters as well.
