At the 5th DGMS Young Scientist Fall Meeting, PhD student Dana Wehner was awarded the Agilent Young Scientists Award for the best talk. Congratulations Dana!
News from Sep 19, 2025
At this year’s DGMS Young Scientist Fall Meeting, Dana received the Agilent Young Scientists Award for her presentation “Acid-Modulated Glycosylation: Structural Insights into Glycosyl Cations via IM-MS and DFT”. Her work combines ion mobility mass spectrometry with quantum-chemical calculations to gain structural insights into reactive glycosyl cations and the stereoselective mechanisms underlying acid-modulated glycosylation.
As part of the award, Dana has been invited to present her research at the DGMS Annual Meeting 2026. We congratulate her on this achievement and thank DGMS Young Scientists, DGMS and Agilent Technologies for supporting young researchers in the mass spectrometry community.
