We are very pleased to announce that Dr. Allison Berger has been nominated by the Dahlem Center for Academic Teaching (DCAT) at Freie Universität Berlin for the 2026 Berlin State Award for Excellence in Higher Education Teaching.

This teaching award, presented by the State of Berlin, recognises courses that demonstrate high quality, innovative teaching concepts and a strong focus on students’ needs, and aims to raise the visibility of excellent university teaching across Berlin.

The nomination is a welcome acknowledgement of Dr. Berger’s commitment to teaching. We are very happy about this recognition and wish her every success in the remainder of the selection process!
