Initial consultation

To get started, contact the BioLabS core unit head, to arrange an initial discussion (either remotely or on-site). Prepare a brief project description containing information on the project objective, the type of sample(s), and the intended use and type of equipment/microscopes.

Access and usage policy

The BioLabS core unit is embedded in the core facility BioSupraMol and the research building SupraFAB. The BioLabS core unit may be used by members of Freie Universität Berlin and by external academic and non‑academic parties. Information about access to the SupraFAB building and labs and instrument rooms including mandatory safety briefing you can find on the SupraFAB contact, safety and emergency web page. Instrument booking

Data storage

ZIB (Zuse Institute Berlin) provides a centralized storage service for measurement data acquired in the BioLabS core unit. For further information and instructions visit the BioSupraMol data storage web page.
