Alongside conventional teaching (see course section below), I am actively involved in a range of training and outreach activities. These include participation in events run by the core facility BioupraMol, such as their Summer Schools, and delivering courses for schoolgirls through initiatives like SummerUNI and the "NATürlich" program. I also offer individual training on specialized methods and techniques tailored to researchers’ needs. In collaboration with the BioLabS and OM core unit and BioSupraMol Dr. Yannic Kerkhoff has developed Fiji/ImageJ image analysis tutorials available for everyone.

Within the research group we run a seminar series that reviews and discusses the latest work on cell–nanoparticle interactions, providing a forum for critical discussion, method exchange and the development of new collaborative projects. In addition, I maintain collaborations with other research groups within the department and beyond, and I am involved in the DFG funded CRC 1449 DYNAMIC HYDROGELS AT BIOINTERFACES and the Canadian-German GRK 2662 "CHARGING INTO THE FUTURE".
