Richard‘s publication on „Janus-faced coordination chemistry of pyridyl-functionalized phosphinines with Cu(I) and Au(I)” is now published in Dalton Transactions. We report on the synthesis oft he novel 2,6-trimethylsilyl-3,5-(2′-pyridyl)phosphinine and its coordination chemistry with Cu(I) and Au(I). Thereby our investiagations highlighted a strongly tuneable coordination behaviour of this new phosphinine scaffold.
