Carolina completed her Master of Science in Biochemistry at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon in March 2017.  In April 2018, Carolina joined the Knaus lab and she is a member of the Berlin-Brandenburg School for Regenerative Therapies. Her PhD project is focused on studying the crosstalk between the BMP signaling and its potential interactor pathways in a mechanobiological context, during bone formation and regeneration.
