Communication and Cognition in Bats
Institute of Biology
We study acoustic communication, cognition, learning and social behavior of mammals, particularly bats. Our research projects are highly interdisciplinary and incorporate behavioral ecology, genetics, neuroethology and biolinguistics. Most of our field work is conducted with wild animals in the Neotropics and South Africa.
