The Havel-Spree Colloquium is an annual symposium on plant biology for gradual students from FU Berlin, HU Berlin, TU Berlin, University of Potsdam and the Max-Planck-Institute for Molecular Plant Physiology in Potsdam Golm and takes place in a rotatory system at the different institutions each year.
Firstly initiated by Professor Jürgen Schmitt from the institute of plant physiology at FU in 1990 the colloquium looks back on a tradition of nearly 30 years now. Many generations of PhD students gained first experiences in presenting their scientific work at the Havel-Spree Colloquium and have started building up their own network with other researchers.
The symposium has the goal to open the stage for young scientists presenting their research in a relaxed atmosphere and to meet the next generation of talented researchers. You are invited to give an oral or poster presentation and to discuss your work with a broad audience from different botanical disciplines. You will have the opportunity to learn more about new methods and techniques and to discuss problems of any kind during coffee breaks and especially the poster session.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the Havel-Spree-Colloquium 2019
The symposium is organized by a student committee of FU
