It is a lot of effort for the working groups to offer a chance to perform a research project or a master thesis:

• To define a topic,
• to ensure supervision,
• may to buy necessary chemicals or other ressources needed,
• in particular to provide a workplace with an opportunity to do the experiments and to record the results.

It may happen that there are more applicants than workplaces in a specific group. This means that there may be a queue time.

• If you have just started your master program you should immediately apply for a first research project - and be in time with all the other research projects!
• For your master thesis you should apply 6 months before you would like to start.
