Please register through the internet form (link below) to make sure that we have all necessary information. The GDCh sponsors a number of travel grants for Ph.D. students and asks that we give GDCh member students priority. Therefore, we also ask whether you are applying for a travel grant and for your GDCh membership number. If you are not a member, please just leave the field empty. You can still apply for a travel grant nevertheless.
Presentations & Abstracts
If you would like to present an oral communication or a poster, please prepare an abstract of your presentation using the Abstract Template. To ensure the abstract book to be somewhat uniform, we ask you not to exceed one page, to follow the styles used in the template, and to submit your abstract as a Word file so that we can easily add page numbers and the like. The abstract book will become available beginning of February 2015 as a pdf on the program page. When you register, please do not forget to send us your abstract by email to firstname.lastname@example.org!
When you register, please indicate which kind of presentations you prefer. We cannot guarantee that all of you who wish to give an oral presentation will have a time slot available. As the conference also aims at supporting young scientists, we will make sure that the oral contributions are a good mix of established scientists, young investigators and Ph.D. students. Therefore, we ask for your understanding, if we need to ask you to present a poster rather than an oral communication.
In favor of our international key note speakers and of foreign participants, we strongly encourage to provide your abstracts and give your presentations in English.
The deadline for registration and submission of abstracts is Jan 5, 2015 so that we have some time left to compile the program, to let everyone know about the kind of presentation and to prepare the abstract book. Late posters can be accepted on short notice, if poster walls are still available, but cannot be included in the abstract book anymore after the deadline.
