Our results from the collaboration with the University of Brasilia, Brazil, were just published by Nanomedicine. We demonstrated the a doxorubicin prodrug encapsulated on nanoemulsion inhibites the breast cancer progression and its methastasis on lung. We are happy to announce that our review about interactions of organic nanoparticles with proteins in physiological conditions was accepted for publication in the Emerging Investigator Issue of Journal of Material Chemistry B. Our work in collaboration with the National University of Cordoba got recently published by Journal of Material Chemistry B. The paper report the development of multiresponsive nanogels that undergo a thermal triggered transition on endolysosomal conditions. This enables the site specific release of the anticancer drug cisplatin. Congratulations to Enrico and the collaborators from Argentina!!

Immobilization of multi stimuli-responsive nanogels onto honeycomb porous surfaces and controlled release of biomacromolecules by Langmuir and Identification of dormancy-associated microRNAs for the design of osteosarcoma-targeted dendritic polyglycerol nanopolyplexes by ACS. Both publications resulted from succefull collaborations with groups from Madrid (Spain) and Tel Aviv (Israel), respectively

Our collaboration with David Smith's group from York University have resulted in a beautiful paper published this week in Chemical Science. We report self-assembling nanostructures as heparin binders, which could be used as heparin rescue agents after surgery to help initiate blood clotting, avoiding problems caused by the current clinical agent protamine.
