Bertin Group

Hosted jointly by the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) and the Free University Berlin.
BAM is a multidisciplinary federal institute with the aim to improve safety in technology and chemistry through research and development, testing, analysis, approvals, advice and information. Research at BAM is strongly focused on materials science but BAM also provides access to many other research areas and a wide range of scientific equipment.

Welcome to the research group of S-Jun.-Prof. Annabelle Bertin!

"PolyNanotechBiomed": Macromolecules & Polymers for Nanotechnology and Biomedicine.

The research interest of our group is the development of new concepts in the field of:

  • Dendrons-based macromolecular and supramolecular architectures for biomedical applications (Focus: Organic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry);

  • Polymer-based nanocomposites for application in materials science (Focus: Polymer Chemistry, Nanoparticle Synthesis and Materials Science).
