Entrance

Our lab is situated on the basement. Don’t get confused: you nevertheless need to climb the stairs to your right once you have entered the front (main) entrance Takustr. 6. If you take the back entrance, you’ll find us to just to the left of the entrance door.

 

Subway (Underground), "U-Bahn"

The nearest subway station ("U") is Dahlem-Dorf, the line is called U3 (formerly known as U1).  The institute is a short walk way (500 m, 1600 ft). When you exit the subway, walk on Königin-Luise-Str., towards the Restaurant 'Luise'.  At the end of that block, turn right into Takustr. Continuing on Takustr. across two intersections, the institute (photo) is situated at the end of the next block, as shown on the site map.

 

Bus

A bus stop of line 101 (e. g. from Breitenbachplatz) is situated in the Altensteinstraße at the corner Limonenstr.  Following Limonenstr. will lead you to Takustr., the institute appears on your left soon after the street starts being called Takustraße  (see map).

 

City Railway, "S-Bahn"

The nearest station of the city railway ("S-Bahn"), Botanischer Garten (Botanic Gardens, line S1) is about 1 km (3300 ft) from the institute.
